This course shows you how generative AI works and where it fails, how to find the uses worth trying, and how to govern them: what the board approves, what management decides, how privacy law applies to your association and how to keep members’ trust.
You work through three fictional Australian associations: a staffed professional association that is a company limited by guarantee, a large registered charity that holds health information, and a volunteer-run incorporated association with no staff. Each module ends with an AI Practice Task that produces something you can use at work, building to a 90-day AI roadmap.
Monthly live Q&A with Annie. Every course includes a free online Q&A with Annie Gibbins every third Tuesday of the month, 6 to 7 pm Sydney time. After you enrol, you will find the registration link for your course in your welcome email and in the course. Attendance is optional.

You keep an AI use policy template (Word), an AI Use Register and planning workbook (Excel), a workbook for each module and an interactive board AI governance checklist. Templates are starting points: tailor them and have them approved before you rely on them.
The course explains national rules, notes where state and territory laws differ, and shows when to get legal or privacy advice. Check with your lawyer and accountant as required.
