Lipstick Consulting Pty Ltd (ABN 15 619 120 482), trading as Nexus Leadership ("Nexus", "we", "us" or "our"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through nexusleadership.com.au, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the thirteen Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

1. Who we are

Nexus Leadership is the parent brand and corporate hub for Nexus Association Management, Nexus Business Management, Nexus Practice Management and the Nexus Learning Academy. This policy covers only nexusleadership.com.au — our blog, newsletter, and discovery-call bookings. Each arm site has its own privacy policy covering the courses and services it delivers directly.

2. What we collect

We only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for our functions. Depending on how you interact with us, this may include:

• Contact details — your name, email address, organisation and role.
• Communications — the content of enquiries and discovery-call bookings.
• Technical information — approximate location, browser type, and aggregate usage analytics collected automatically when you visit the site.

We do not collect sensitive information (such as health, racial or political information) and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. We do not collect or store payment information on this site — course purchases are handled by Thinkific and book purchases by Amazon, each under their own policies.

3. How we collect it

Directly from you — for example, when you subscribe to the newsletter, submit the contact form, or book a discovery call. Some technical information is collected automatically through privacy-friendly analytics (see our Cookie Policy).

4. Why we use it

• To send the newsletter edition you've asked for;
• to respond to your enquiry or confirm a discovery call;
• to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used, so we can improve it; and
• to meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us operate this site, and only to the extent necessary. These currently include:

• Netlify — website hosting and contact-form capture.
• Mailchimp (Intuit) — newsletter management.
• Calendly — scheduling of discovery calls.
• Plausible — privacy-friendly analytics that does not use cookies or track individuals.

We may also disclose information where required or authorised by law.

6. Storage & security

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including through reputable providers with their own security controls. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure. We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described, or as required by law.

7. Overseas disclosure

Some of our service providers (including those listed above) are based overseas, primarily in the United States. By using this site, you acknowledge that your information may be stored and processed outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure these providers handle your information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

8. Accessing and correcting your information

You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. To make a request, email us at the address below. We will respond within a reasonable period and may need to verify your identity first.

9. Email and marketing

Where you have opted in, we may send you educational content and updates. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.

10. Complaints

If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles, contact us first at the email below so we can investigate and respond. If you're not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
